2. The problem with the questionmark remains unsolved, I am afraid. 3. There is also a problem with \rq (closing quotation marks). The result is expected to be <<abc>>, however it is <<abc' When combined with ", needed to put a sukun, \rq is reinterpreted as hamza, e.g. \lq hwlndI"\rq Somewhere down in the Arabtex code \rq is mapped to ', which is the symbol used for hamza. I would appreciate if you would look into that.
