I think that a luatex solution should be easy (for Hans, hint hint).
Collect everything on a page, and do some attribute magic to reveal it one
by one (or change colors, etc). Personally, I occasionally use a primitive

Looks like the bit of page-str.mkii that dealt with local floats is not included in page-str.mkiv (which makes sense, as it looks like it does not belong there). Copying those macros verbatim into the test file works, so it is probably just an oversight that they do not appear elsewhere in mkiv. The steps result is as I expected. I get 4 physical pages and I can step
through the items. But the wrong page counter makes the it unusable since
most simpleslides styles use them (on purpose). Maybe it's just a small fix.
I wonder why I have to install the module manually. It is not included in

This early version provides: * OpenType math constants values, necessary for proper layout of various math elements. * proper math accent positioning. * proper sub/superscript positioning (not fine tuned yet). * extensible radicals, delimiters and math accents. * oldstyle figures. * some pre-composed fraction. [NTG-context] new beta
Hi, I uploaded a new beta to the website (will be synced with the garden minimals). I'm in the process of removing old code that is no longer needed (after all, luatex evolves). As part of the process there has been some changes in the generation of the format. It works ok on my machine (windows 7) and Taco's (linux). It might be that some things are broken but I see no immediate problems. Keep in mind that as we're now in beta mode again, we also need luatex 0.60 and we will deviate from the tex live current. Best not drop files from the beta into the upcoming tex live but use a separate tree. The next current will be around the context meeting when we also plan to have luatex 0.70+. Hi all, today i tried to update context and also updated first-setup.sh and now i get in terminal: Bernhards-MacBook-Pro:ConTeXt Bernhard$ rsync -av rsync://contextgarden.net/minimals/setup/first-setup.sh . receiving file list ... done sent 37 bytes received 91 bytes 256.00 bytes/sec total size is 3573 speedup is 27.91 Bernhards-MacBook-Pro:ConTeXt Bernhard$ . /Applications/ConTeXt/first-setup.sh receiving file list ... done sent 37 bytes received 132 bytes 112.67 bytes/sec total size is 5363753 speedup is 31738.18 /Applications/ConTeXt/bin/mtxrun:1932: bad argument #1 to 'osgetenv' (string expected, got boolean) When you want to use context, you need to initialize the tree by typing: . /Applications/ConTeXt/tex/setuptex in your shell or add /Applications/ConTeXt/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin to PATH variable if you want to set it permanently. Dear Bernhard others, Thanks a lot for reporting the problem. Please wait for a fix from Hans or (in case that you need to update for some reason) first disable updating stuff in bin (comment out a line in first-setup) and then copy the old mtxrun from tex/texmf-yourplatform/bin to bin/. If I start fixing/messing up with the system now (at this time of the day), I'll screw up something else for sure.
