Hello Hans.
Is it possible that I'm still not working? I just updated and always
ends the same compilation error.
My older projects do not compile. It can be a problem in anything else?
When I ignore the error message, then finally generates a PDF file, but

Hi again,
I tried MkIV 2012 12:34 now and added
"\setupfootnotes[location=columns]", trying also all other values listed
in [1], at the beginning of my example below. They don't seem to do
something that looks as if it is intended behaviour.
The only thing I can do by now is using \setu

Hi Hans,
sorry to bother you again with this. I just had a look again on this
issue with 2012 12:34 MkIV. In the first part of your example, I
see the three stacked footnotes and the first lines of the paragraph
moved to the next page. In your second example I get the three notes

With LuaTeX and XeTeX you can use the predefined typescript to use Optima.

Minimal example:

\stopcomponent
With the current beta this fails but after I changed

Thanks many times Wolfgang.
You were right! I forgot to regenerate the format in the standalone
version, respectively I instead regenerated ConTeXt format in TeXLive
2011, which you probably assumed in your mail :-).
Everything is in order now.
Thanks again.

I find that the placement of an equation number makes a difference on the
amount of white after the equation. Should they both give the same amount of
whitespace? Or is the difference intentional? But then why?
I add a minimal example.

Dear ConTeXt folks,
looking into typesetting URLs I find typesetting URLs quite cumbersome.
Maybe I have not used that feature that often so I am not seeing the
advantage to first define a URL somewhere and give it a name

I think I spotted a small error in the parameterlisting of \setupformulae on
the wiki:
parameter "after dimension" probably should be "spaceafter dimension" because
calling with the former has no effect, the latter does.
Though using it does not change the difference in spaceafter between

That sounds a bit strange, because a paragraph doesn't end with a line
break. That's how I usually do my comments
I guess I have found the culprit in the bad placement of formulas without an
equationnumber.
The minimal example I used is that found in strc-mat.mkiv, added a [-] in the
middle one.

You've already added support for this in January:

Dear all,
I use MetaFun to create a figure and embed it using \processMPbuffer[].
for example,
\startbuffer[test]

\processMPbuffer[test]

But sometimes, I need to rescaling the mp figure to fit the page.
