Hi Jesse,
1. What's the difference between getting the texmf tree using rsync, as
you suggest, and using ctxtools --updatecontext? Are those equivalent?
You might read the underneath thread from here on, as well as its later

Hello,
the long awaited mail ... here are the fees for ConTeXt meeting (for

Yes. The Format is

Dear gang,
There has been some discussion on the list lately comparing ConTeXt with
InDesign. Are there any Framemaker users on the list? I'm interested in
comparisons between ConTeXt and Framemaker, with cross-comparisons with
InDesign as appropriate.
What does ConTeXt have that

Is that the correct command

If your question is of interest to others as well, please
Wolfgang and Hans have just solved a problem and I'm here again to ask for help.
Is arranging already supported in Luatex?
If I call context --arrange (undocumented) with the following simple
code I get the toc, but the text is only on the left side of the
paper.
\setuppapersize[A5][A4,landscape]

Ciao Wolfgang,
To access fonts with the name you have to create the database
with the entries:
mtxrun --script font --reload
Thanks, Mojca noticed a bug à propos (if I have understood)

A praise from the heart to the devs.
Wouldn't be possibile to support font selection like in XeTeX?
This would make thing really a lot easier for sublunar users like me.
Really, the whole process it's damn' complicated: no one a part 2 or
3 seems to know the details :)

Oh, I WISH I had Framemaker...
But this might be interesting. Setting up margin notes in InDesign is
considered to be an Intermediate to advanced feature. It may well be
possible to have more recurrent structured elements in Framemaker, but I
would suggest that only TeX and friends can do

I don't know about ConTeXt, but I know that something like LaTeX's

Has anyone ever thought of integrating something dot-like into ConTeXt

that in TeX and friends.
Or would that fall under dot - MetaPost?

Have a look at dot2tex: http://www.fauskes.net/code/dot2tex/
It uses a python script to convert the dot output to tikz or pgf code
which can be included
