Hi,
ConTeXt supports prescripts:
\startTEXpage[offset=1DK]
\m{1 - {}^nC_2\tan^2\theta + {}^nC_4 }
\m{1 - C_2^^n \tan^2\theta + C_4^^n }
\stopTEXpage
If you want them below, use double _.

Suppose I want to typeset the formula: 1 - {}^nC_2\tan^2\theta + {}^nC_4
then it appears as if n is power of - and +. The same formula in LaTeX
comes out nicely. Is there something I need to change?

I have
\setupwhitespace [big]
so that I get "a blank line" between paragraphs.
I would like to *not* have "blank lines" before and after my items. For
example, if there is more "paragraph text" after the last item I would like
to see this structure:
Dear list,
the issue I’m experiencing comes from XML sources typeset with ConTeXt.
I have tried, but I found no way to get a minimal sample.
For code fragments in the XML source, I use:
\bgroup\xmlprettyprinttext{#1}{none}\egroup
To which I apply:
\setuptyping
[style={\tt\wider},
Here comes my minimal example.
\vfill doesn't fit the grid, the counted blank works.
Is it possible to jump to grid with blank[?] ?

You might like \showgrid, and please read the manual details.pdf WRT to
placement of elements that don’t fit the grid.

Hi folks,
which settings are necessary to achieve "Registerhaltigkeit"?
\setuplayout[grid=yes]
but sometimes elements elements have to be forced to be on the grid,
e.g. tables need to be part of a float.
