Are you sure?
Also, \setuphighlight [emphasis] [style=bold] and
\emphasis{...}
is a *functionally* better way of formatting text.
It depends on the document size, for a simple letter \

However there's one situation which I can't think how to handle; I'd
like to have a setup append and prepend some text, just like before=
and after= for various other setups. If \setuphighlight h
st as \setuphighlight would provide.
However there's one situation which I can't think how to handle; I'd
like to have a setup append and prepend some text, just like before=
and after= for various other setups. If \setuphighlight had before=
and after=, this would suit me perfectly.

Hi,
I'm looking for something like \definehighlight which I can use to

these appear, just as \setuphighlight would provide.
However there's one situation whi

Indeed, but the point is not to predefine the styles but to predefine the
highlights. E.g
and
colors
so they will have to be changed in the setuphighlight anyway!
The use of such a command is convient, but we should think about the
nomenclature!
The nomenclature should reflect what it does. We can have synonyms to satisfy
the
semantic usage of it!
