I use \definesynonyms in several documents but it seems to be broken!
For testing purposes I use the folowing command:
\definesynonyms[kind][kinds][\infull]
\kind{to}{test one!}
\kind{t}{sonething else}
\definesynonyms[state][states][\infull]
\state{a}{anything}
\state{ab}{anything b

Don't use the same command. Better:
\definesynonyms[kind][kinds][\KindFull]
\definesynonyms[state][states][\StateFull]

Dear all,
When defining abbreviations through \definesynonyms, if the abbreviation
contains a digit then it seems that the built-in macro is not recognized: in
the example below the command \EEG is recognized, whereas \M2 or \Y2K are not.
Is there a way around this difficulty? Or should one

Hi all,
LuaTex doesn't seem to like the \definesynonyms command. The following
works fine in PDFtex:
1 \definesynonyms[abbreviation][abbreviations][\infull]
2
3 \starttext
4 \abbreviation{VVV}{Bureau of Tourist Information}
5 The Dutch \VVV\ (\infull{VVV}) can

There is also this (more formal) solution:
\def\PID{\dodoubleempty\doPID}
