Hi,
yesterday me too switched from a working 2006 TeX installation to a more recent
TeXLive2007 (all with OSX).
In general it works.
Only using \usetypescript[postscript] (for using the Nimbus/Times) fails:

\usetypescript[postscript][\defaultencoding]
\setupencoding
! Font \*postscript12ptrmtfrm*:=texnansi-utmr8a at 12.0pt not loadable: Metric
(TFM) file not found.
This line say that you don't have installed the font required;
maybe the font is in your system, but you didn't said to TeX to
install it (no tfm= no Tex Font Metric found)

Well, yes, you are right: The fonts used with
\usetypescript[postscript] I never did install, actually I don't know
much about them. I thought they are kind of
preinstalled fonts...
Now, with TeXLive they are gone. But some projects allready started
