OK, another question, hopefully less stupid: \defineinmargin [MyOuter] [outer] [normal] [distance=1cm] \starttext test \MyOuter{1}test \stoptext gives ! You can't use `\dimexpr' in restricted horizontal mode. but the definition is taken from page-mar.mkiv Thomas
