Hello Everyone,
First of all, thank you for this great tool.
I am sorry to bother you all with this long mail but we have few problems with
NTOP:
1. NTOP dumps core when accessed on SSL port. Please see some info from gdb
below. RH 7.1 system, OpenSSL version 0.9.6. Every things else related
Jorge,
it looks that libpcap for Windows is unable to determine the network
type. Is Ethereal able to work on yout host (www.ethereal.com)?

HI,
I don't run ntop for winNT4.0. the initialising result cannot determine the
network type.
Jorge.
Brad,
move to ntop 2.0 beta (www.ntop.org) and if still crashes send me a
precise error report.
Thanks, Luca

Quick question, I'm trying to run ntop 1.3.2 on a default install of RedHat
7.1 and the app keeps crashing. What can I do to stabilize it. Any
thoughts?
Hi all,
I'm using NTOP on Windows NT, and I have a small question. Is it normal that
in Data Received or Data Send for the Protocol IP, I don't see much Mail
Traffic. I'm not sure that NTOP is analysing SMTP protocol. Have soemeone
see the same or had any clues about that ?
Thanks
Philippe
What I did on Redhat 7.1 :
Deinstalled package libpcap 0.4-29.
Get new libpcap 0.6-2 .
Good Luck
