The other question I have then is…. IF I need to reset/disconnect one of the
2 remote sessions on a given server, how can I do that in 2012 since there’s no
RDS MMC?

Query.exe / tscon.exe / tsdiscon.exe / tskill.exe – these native binaries
provide all those capabilities and more! ☺

Good question and glad you asked because I didn’t know about this set of
commands:
1. *qwinsta /server:REMOTEPC*
2. A list of active and connected Remote Desktop sessions will be
displayed. Find the ‘hanging’ connection and its ID.
3. To disconnect and reset the Remote Desktop
Hopefully, it's not coming to a computer near you...

Does anyone know of a way to generate Xenserver storage reports?
Specifically look across the various pools and give me a repoty of available
space on both local hosts (not guest VM's) and shared (SAN/NAS) storage?

query session and query user
at the command line will give you the information you need
Then simply logoff the session you want to dispose of
For the console session use PSShutdown (carefully) with the -o option
Or am i missing what it is you want to do?

The problem may be that there are so many entries in the MFT that the OS is
paging (like mad) in order to build the list of files to pass to Robocopy.
Start task manager and check in drive usage and memory paging

So one of my clients has finally taken heed to what i told them a long time
ago about having domain admin rights on their day-to-day account. Perhaps this
article i sent them (thanks ASB) scared them LOL

based on your response i gather you suggest the following;create delegated AD

I'd add the Juniper SRX line with UTM to that list for consideration.
