I appreciate the example J-P - thats interesting. Do you have any other
examples that arent strictly an error code?

Really, my first search engine was an old 2-inch thick Computer Shopper. I
haven't seen a computer shopper made recently, but the last one I saw looked...
pathetic.
Back to the topic, I am glad that Bing has an education-centric search
My experience, the results are better.

Put those little buggers to work
Example of natural search (Google vs. Bing):
http://www.reddit.com/r/google/comments/1uugpo/google_vs_bing_vague_search_for_german_phrase_i/
Great follow-up examples in the comments too. But my point was, its kind of
disgusting that they are getting classrooms to pay-per-click with thier
search
Wooo, after a few clicks I found a way to opt our district out of ads on Bing.
Thanks man!

Its definitely a good feature. Glad the OT post was actually helpful!
Personally, I use AdBlock Plus with the Element Hiding Helper' installed.
With the EHH, you can selectively get rid of ads anywhere. Its especially
great for those sites that like to use that curtain page blocking
technique.
Nice...
