was introduced with Vista... I guess that even though the support needs to be
there to cancel the I/O ops in-progress [1](which would ostensibly make it
easier to ensure there was no pending I/O that would prevent
I just wrote a script to terminate any existing Vipre processes, deleted
registry keys, deleted file system, then install our new A/V (we are using a
different A/V for our nomadic users), then rebooted. I'm not script expert,
but couldn't at least Sunbelt have done something like this?
