Anyone had any experience of this? I was thinking of a way to try and manage my home clients better, rather than remote accessing each machine separately and running updates / AV scans / health checks explicitly. Or are there any better ways to manage such widely distributed machines? TIA,

Yep, the resource kit is installed and I've been looking at them. The problem with trying to automate the jobs will be that I can't just do it by OU (to break the users into groups) unless I want to start moving people around and verifying the GPO's against them. Though it may be something I'll do

I think it's great too. Lots of built in examples of what is going on with your system and what times it happens. We have one system that does it's most intensive work at night, so we were able to move the 'ScheduledDefrag' from 1am to 1pm when the system is sleeping. Steven Peck

The few times I've tried, Office2007 uninstalls nicely. That is, in ControlPanel, if I uninstall it, then I usually find no pieces of Office2007 products in HKLM\Software\Microsoft. (Check anyway.) Do a file system check, then try to reinstall (and hope you don't have to go through MS
