He should not have had that error at all as no .adm files are in use.
By simply getting rid of that GPO

I am currently trying to get my head around the new Windows 2008 GPO
policies Mgmt.
Here is the scenario:
windows 2008 R2 ( All MS Updates applied )
1. Configure Central Store and created the Policy Def folder in Sysvol.
2. Copied the entire folder of Policy definitions
