Birded Sunken Meadow State Park (Suffolk County) this afternoon (3:00-5:30).
The best find during that time were 4 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE. These
birds were initially found among 90 Canada Geese feeding on the lawn just
a little west of the roundabout at the end of the park entrance road, then
great blue herons have begun to return to at least one of the local heronries here as of march 3rd. we are inching closer to spring. JPA John Askildsen Millbrook, New York

One location, Plumb Beach in Brooklyn, has been added to the abundance
table. I've shortened the months to 2 letters hoping this expands the
location area for lower-resolution displays. The table was updated this
afternoon.
