Earlier today on a Home Depot "run", I made a quick stop at the same Riverhead re- charge basin for the 4th straight day, and found both #'s of shorebirds, and water level down. At 7:15 PM, I returned, and found the # of birds had risen some. They consisted of: 1 Killdeer, unchanged from

Good evening, WHile walking around at Cedarmere (the WC Bryant Estate) in Roslyn, NY I saw an odd bird (for me). Generally Oriole like but definitely yellowish with a black chin. I sketched it and made some notes and came home & looked it up. What I saw and sketched looked exactly like the
