I headed out of work early to try to catch up with the Western Kingbird reported this morning by Brett Ewald. Kayo Roy and Drew Campbell were the only other birders at the location while I was there (5:30 - 6:00 pm). We located the bird after about 5 minutes of looking - initially on

The WESTERN KINGBIRD, first found by Brett Ewald, continued to be seen occasionally as of 3:45 or so. It is sometimes seen on the wires along the south side of the road but, just as often or more so, seen in the trees on the north side. It disappears for long periods toward the north (closer to
