Did some follow-up to the South Nassau CBC this morning. Immediately upon entering the median at Jones Beach West End, I lucked into an immature Northern Goshawk sitting low in a pine tree. I got to watch it for 15-20 minutes before it flew. There were also 7 Red Crossbills hanging around, and
