around 11:30 this morning and a bald eagle soared over the south end of
Lake Montauk around 2 PM. Could not locate the Barrow's goldeneye on

Friday, 1 March, 2013 - Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
Seeking gulls I again scanned those on the park's reservoir, but in looks
beginning around noon and ending after 2 pm, I did not see any uncommon
species, just the 3 most typical of the winter or most times of year here
(Ring-billed,
Yesterday Eric Miller, Bob Hayes, and I went up to Storm King to
look for the Golden Eagle[s] that had been reported recently.
Stopping and scanning from the Storm King State Park pull out on 9W,
we saw Turkey Vultures, Black Vultures Bald Eagles, and one bird
that
Red-necked Grebe observed sleeping/drifting behind Yankee III charter boat.
