In addition to the birds mentioned by Ken Feustel. Michael McBrien and I
had a few WESTERN WILLETS loafing near the spit at the Coast Guard Station
and later on 3 LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS on the beach. I should also note
that Michael and I observed the BAIRD's fly off the aforementioned pond

Early this morning Derek Rogers found a Baird's Sandpiper in the ponds that lie
east of WE2 and west of the Nature Center. The bird was still present late this
morning. A good variety of shorebirds were present in the ponds on the high
tide, including Stilt (4), Pectoral (1), and White-rumped
