I already stand corrected. One must be careful when searching eBird range maps for New York records to select "New York, United States" and not "New York, New York, United States." Zooming out to look at the entire state, one sees that birds have lasted into January up in Ithaca. Good Birding,

While searching for (and dipping on) the Common Ground-Dove at Jones Beach this morning several birders pointed out a Yellow Warbler they had found in the hedgerow by the Coast Guard Station. (Not sure who first found / identified it.) Bull's Birds lists 24 October as the late date for New York
