[nysbirds-l] PFGO and also Hempstead lake

Hi everybody, Went back to Hendrickson today,couldn't help but revisit the pfgo. It was swimming in proximity to where it seems to like to hang out by the tennis courts. After about 10 minutes it hopped up out of the water and fed giving some good looks. What a great bird!! A red tailed hawk

A male Eurasian Widgeon has returned to Patchogue Lake, Patchogue, NY. Approximately 6 Canvasbacks are associating with a large group of Ringed- neck Ducks on Seatuck Creek north of Montauk Hwy, by the Long Island Country Club in Eastport. 2 Royal Terns were at Iron Pier Beach, Riverhead.
