[nysbirds-l] Rough-legged Hawk(s) along Jones Beach today

I saw one, possibly two, Rough-legs along the Jones Beach strip today. About 11:30 I saw one just east of Field 5, 40.597417, -73.499946.  I was quite close to the bird but wasn't able to get any photos.  About an hour later I saw perhaps the same bird east of Gilgo around 40.621293,

Went to the West Pt. Foundry Preserve today in Cold Spring and had 4 Carolina Wrens, a Winter Wren, and a House Wren.  This is by far the latest/earliest I've ever had a House Wren in NY, let alone the northeast.  Never had a 3 wren day in winter.  Very cool.  Also had two Eastern Bluebirds, an
