Pretty amazing that there were two Swallow-tailed Kites at Sandy Hook, NJ, at
the same time as the two in Orleans Co., NY. Cool stuff.

Both birds being observed now from the Church location at the intersection of
County Line & Creek Rds. soaring mostly over the creek to the east.

renowned East Pond of Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens Co. (NYC), however
somewhat nicer news to see that Marbled Godwit were among shorebirds noted
