Bob McGrath and I had a Connecticut Warbler at Hoyt Farm Park in Commack this morning. We discovered the bird in a patch of mugwort and goldenrod when it responded to a chip call and flew across the path. We got a clear look at the brownish hood, complete eye ring and yellowish underparts.
