Lighthouse, by an Eastern Long Island Audubon Society Field Trip.

Continuing female Yellow-headed Blackbird was being seen for a while up
until recently this morning at Nickerson Beach Park in the area of the
maintenance building and the entrance to the campground (40.5913423,
-73.5989584) but has flown off with flock of cowbirds & starlings it is

The Wood Stork photographed in Orleans County, NY on Monday Oct. 11th is a good
additional reminder of the multiple 'Gulf Coast’ types of birds, wading-birds
especially but also some others, that seem to have been present (vastly
farther-north than their typical ranges) in greater-than-average
