There's been a Yellow-throated Vireo bouncing around Hempstead lake state park
between the path by the creek heading towards the dog run, and in the trees

Angus Wilson and I are looking at the continuing Mottled Duck at Ketcham’s Ck,
Suffolk Co.
It was at the south end (viewed from Merrick Rd) for a while but is working
north. Patience is required as it spends a lot of time hiding amongst
Phragmites or out of sight. Note that it appears

A multitude of folks dipped on the Mottled Duck yesterday so I am sure they
would be keen to learn that the Duck was just reported present.
