On this blustery Sunday morning, upon noting the streams of blackbirds and finches migrating over my house, I headed down to the bay in East Patchogue. From 7:10 to 10:40, I watched the coastal flight which was highlighted by a robust number of finches. Around 7:30, I had a flock of 10
