[nysbirds-l] Brown Booby: Ashokan Reservoir

The adult Brown Booby continues. I observed it at 6:22pm perched with several DC Cormorants on the yellow data collection float located west of the bridge on Reservoir Road. Earlier observers saw it here and feeding near the rocky shoal well east of the bridge. -- Peter Polshek --

Brown Booby continues seen now from Reservoir Rd bridge very distant to the west (scope necessary). Bird is on top of big yellowish platform with solar panels occupied by cormorants. Apparently was much closer to road earlier. No sign yet of American White Pelican. Adrian Burke NYC --
