Our apologies to the list, after reviewing illustrations and comparing
observations with Nadir Souirgi who saw and sketched the bird from a different
location in the park, we realized it was a juvenile Golden Eagle. In our
excitement and desire to get the word out so others had a chance to
Tom Perlman and myself just had an adult Golden Eagle flyover (Meer) with
outstanding views at 12:44 heading SE.
