The bird apparently was on the Ocean side of Cupsogue, and disappeared
several hours ago. Just to let you know because the beach parking lot is very
crowded, and has a parking fee.

Hi All,
Alex Hale just called me--she and Starr Saphir are currently looking at a
basic-plumaged Pacific Loon just east of the boardwalk at Cupsogue. It
apparently keeps coming in and out of sight.
