An early male Prairie Warbler at the Sands Point Preserve (Nassau) this morning
was unexpected; it was near the “waterfall” that feeds the pond. Many Palm (23)
and Yellow-rumped (26) Warblers.
Other migrants included Turkey Vulture (overhead), 3 Wood Duck, 4 Ruby-crowned
Kinglets, Blue-gray
