If it continues along that breakwall the next point of easy access to intercept it after the VN bridge would be Veterans Memorial Pier at Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Parkway. Good luck -Doug Gochfeld On Fri, Jan 18, 2019 at 14:57 Ryan Mandelbaum wrote: > Back to the murre for a moment: is it

Back to the murre for a moment: is it still being seen? would like to know before paying for a cab ride out to see it. it’s definitely nice that there’s a thick-biled murre that’s accessible to those of us without a car :) > On Jan 18, 2019, at 2:53 PM, John Gluth wrote: > > I’m seriously

I’m seriously considering paying the $95 for a 10-hour codfish trip aboard the Laura Lee Express out of Captree. Half the price of a See Life trip. Two trips each weekend through the end of March. Much more convenient for Suffolk birders than Brooklyn. If memory serves from past cod trips

There is currently a Thick-billed Murre in Gravesend Bay, Brooklyn. It is close to shore, swimming NW along the rim of the bay. I was viewing from adjacent to the parking pulloff along the eastbound Belt Parkway just west of (before) exit 5. It has covered a considerable amount of water heading NW
