which included the continuing pair of Harlequin Ducks sitting among 7
The tanager is still being seen in the median, south if the large cottonwood.
Best approached from the west, entering median opposite the bathhouse in Field
2.

Just got another update from Ed Becher that Taylor Strum had the bird in the
median at West End.

Ed Becher, just called to pass on a report of a male Western Tanager found by
Bill Hanley at the Coast Guard at Jones Beach LI.
The bird flew into the median and Bill and others are trying to re-find it. I
will relay any updates as they come through the wire.
