You'd be right Mike.  I used to work at the refuge when it was first formed and did the checklist for it and Wallkill.  They used to nest there many years ago, but have not been seen there until recently and definitely not on territory.   Very nice bird.  Let's keep our fingers crossed. Andrew

Riis Park, Queens Monday 11/ /14 Following up on earlier posts, late afternoon had 6 birders looking in the southeastern field and edges next to the golf course. The bird was finally located several times, and a few people had decent although quick looks. Deborah Martin and Steve
