Since no one else reported it today - Barb Saunders and I (Ardith Bondi)
found it this afternoon (Wednesday, Nov. 10) at 3:15 foraging in the
grass at the edge of the north side of the south parking lot at Captree
State Park.

November 10 - At Ring-neck Marsh at Iroquois NWR today there were 9
White-fronted Geese, 3 Blue Phase Snow Geese, 18 Cackling Geese, 120 Hooded
Mergansers, and 24 Ring-necked Ducks. At the adjacent Tonawanda Wildlife
Management Area there were 25 Tundra Swan and 120 American Coot.

Joe Giunta, Sam Jannazzo and I (Sy Schiff) started at the Coast Guard Station
parking lot. We flushed a Winter Wren from the vegetation by the concession
stand on our way to the gazebo. On the bar were the usual suspects including
the MARBLED GODWIT and ROYAL TERN.

I just received a call from Shai Mitra who says there are 2 Cattle Egets on the
south side of Sunrise Highway between exits 61 and 62, which I believe is
Eastport

Just a little more information on my sighting yesterday.
At about 10:35 yesterday morning I was returning to my car after doing a
little sea watch from the Coney Island boardwalk. I was parked on south most
end of 35th street between Surf Avenue and the boardwalk. Between 35th and 36th

Tuesday, 9 November 2010 - Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
A total of more than 9 hours of observations from various points,
primarily several in the park's north end with visits to all parts of
the park from Fifth Ave. to Central Park West, and C.P. South (60th
Street) to 110th Street.
I neglected to add into the good list of species seen flying through
