Termite hatches near the Lily Ponds and elsewhere at the north end.

New York County (in N.Y. City), including Manhattan, Governors, & Randall's IslandsFriday, May 14th -Two Blue Grosbeaks (adult male, and female type) were found on Governors Island, with multiple observers on Friday. At least ten Bobolinks were found at Governors Island (B. Cacace, also G. Willow,
The Black-throated Gray Warbler reported by Brenda Bull earlier today is
currently showing for me, Pat Lindsay, and Shai Mitra on the trail directly
east of Forest Pond. Park opposite the the entrance to the EPCAL runway on
Line Road and walk south from the DEC trailhead about 1/2 mile.
