For anyone birding eastern Suffolk, there was a large flock of American Pipits at Fresh Pond in Amagansett yesterday afternoon. We had run into a couple further west who told us there were Pipits in the parking lot at Fresh Pond. When we arrived -- no Pipits-- only a flock of Juncos. After

The previously reported Glaucous Gull was north of the Ferry on the rocks close to the Lighthouse with other gulls and all the common sea ducks and a Great Cormorant at noon yesterday. It lifted after 15 minutes and dissapeared south of the Ferry Slip. I was unable to find Barrows Goldeneye. Orhan
