Hi Everyone,
At the end of August I posted a urgent plea from the Committee for
documentation on the wealth of NYSARC-reviewable rarities associated with
Hurricane Irene. The response has been disappointing,
Just had it in a meadow NE of its previous locale. Great looks. Also
had male Cape May in the field where the sparrow had been originally.

Bronxville,
We arrived at RMSP at 6:30AM anticipating a good movement with the arrival of
last nights cold front. Very few birds were moving at this early hour but
things started to improve as the sun rose. We spished up a Yellow-breasted Chat
on the golf course followed shortly by a Gray-cheeked Thrush.
Hello all, The strong north wind overnight produced a small wave of
migrants along the barrier island at Smith Point today. Pat Santinello and I
counted 15 Osprey, 7 Northern Harrier, [including a Grey Ghost], 9 American
Kestral, 6 Northern Flicker, and a Whimbrel, before we left around 10.
In SE storage area along 40th St. Btwn 5th & 6th Ave.
Composed in the field on an iPhone 3Gs.
