Bird is now on the south east side near the road that you take to up on the landfill. It was missing for a bit so you have to be patient. Excellent bird for Queens that was overdue. Another good result from patch birding and full credit to Corey who has made this his patch to pound. Cheers, 風

Oct 5, 2014, 9AM - 12PM. Alley Pond Park - Sunny, breezy, 51 degrees F. After yesterday's rain a cold front with north winds brought many migrant birds to Alley Pond Park, Queens. Large numbers of N Flicker seen in many locations. Particularly 14 on the ball field next to the handball courts.
