Hi All,
John Wittenberg called to say he and Gaile Newman just had a Kentucky
Warbler at Tanner's Spring (7:45pm). Gaile initially found the bird
west of Tanner's, and it subsequently came in for a drink. Hopefully
it'll still be there tomorrow.

Subject: Bittern on ridge trail
Ridge trail
is a huge boulder. Just north of that boulder (about ten or twenty
yards) is a snag and just next to the snag (slightly up slope) is a
tree that has not leafed out yet. The bittern is (or was) in that
tree.
Good luck to those who try for it. Hopefully the bird will stick around.

Just heard from Tom Perlman that he and John Wittenberg are looking at
the rufous Ruff. It was found by Mike Stewart this morning and is
on the north end of the East Pond, about 100yds south of the north
island, on the east side.
Good luck if you go,
