Park's
(Brooklyn, NYC) birders shows a minimum of 22 warbler species
including Hooded there on Wednesday, along with many of the other
migrants noted in Central on the day. The other urban migration hot-
spots probably fared well also.

visiting Seaside Goldenrod just coming into peak bloom. Dragonflies

Thursday, 17 December, 2009 - Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City
No standout species or numbers from my observations, at various
hours this windy brisk day. Certainly should be some additional
species/numbers to be seen during Sunday's lower Hudson CBC.
I did not get into the zoo grounds today,
be forthcoming this week from a variety
of CBC's. One additional species seen was the Rufous Hummer
still visiting the same yard in Staten Island, N.Y. City as of 12/19 !

Clarification:
The Swallow-tailed Kite seen heading north from Sandy Hook, N.J. was
seen at 2:25 p.m. Daylight Savings Time on Tuesday 4/6/'10. Hawk
reports are initially posted in standard time even when daylight

average Semipalmated, and NOT a rare (mainly-Eurasian breeder) Common
