This AM I did a shorebird survey on the East Pond, starting just under 1 hour
before high tide.
My survey covered from the south to the north end of the pond. The number of
shorebirds was small, with just about 225 birds in total, made up of 12
species, broken down as follows:

Birded from 4:00 pm until dark.
1 marbled Godwit.
1 American Golden Plover
2 Caspian Terns. Continuing adult and young bird spent most of time on spit in
front of island.
The Godwit and plover both stayed on the pond for about a minute each.
Peregrine buzzed the pond multiple times and
