Carrie Laben and I spent from early AM through 10:30 AM trying to find the
Gyrfalcon with no luck. It apparently is most reliable in the afternoon.
Only birds of note during our visit were two Rough-legged Hawks (one at
Shawangunk, one along Hoagerburgh), 2 Bald Eagles at the spillway on the
