thanks for posting, congrats on a nice find fyi, I checked today but could not find it. if its still there it was probably staying undercover from the constant wind. only thing I saw perhaps worth mentoning was a pair of pintails on the swale. hopefully the shrike is refound on the weekend

This morning on my way to work I spotted a immature Northern Shrike on Route 42 just before the pipeline clearing in Forestburg. This bird is very brown with no white in the wings while perched, and a very vague mask. This location is approximately a mile or so before the Orange County border.
