Forgot to make the post this morning but there was the same juvenile osprey on a snag along the swan river as viewed from swezey street - just south of the LIRR. Also I checked out the raven nest on Sunday but birds were absent. -- NYSbirds-L List Info:

Seems a bit late in the season so thought I would put it out there. There was an Osprey an hour ago on a branch overlooking the Swan River in East Patchogue, viewed from the Swezey Street bridge (just south of the RR tracks and the new Town of Brookhaven "Swan River Preserve" next to Friendlys).
