As of 7:40 AM, the Pink-footed Goose was NOT present in the Holtsville soccer field. I decided I'd try for it in my way into work. When I arrived, Rob Bate and Rich Fried were already on the scene working there way through a small flock of Canada Geese. Hopefully more recon and routine site

Kevin McGann and I went to Middletown to see if the Pink-footed Goose was still around. We checked all of the spots Curt mentioned plus the ponds across from the Psychiatric Center on Route 17M with no success. Most of the geese we did find were on the pond visible from the foot trail off 6 &

dHi All, I wanted to update the status of the PfG for anyone considering searching for it this weekend. To my knowledge, the bird was last seen on Wednesday morning by Rob Bate and Rich Fried. It is very possible that this bird is still around and has just not been relocated
