In Crocheron Park, I watched in vain for the Chat from 10:55 to noon. The
Western Tanager appeared at 11:35 in the sweet gums east of the pond, having
flown in from the south along the highway. At 11:55, it flew to the south side
of the pond.

I don't think it's been mentioned that the Yellow-breasted Chat has stayed
right around the perimeter of the pond (as far as I can tell). Mostly, it's
been on the north side toward the west end, but it's best seen looking
across from the south side. It has also ranged to the south side and the

Both Western Tanager and Yellow-breasted Chat continue. Add a female Wilson's

A bit west of where it had been seen recently. If you leave the APEC parking
lot and walk east along Northern Blvd, over the bridge, and immediately turn
onto the trail it was about 100 yards along, on the right, just after the
steep, muddy hill.
Good Birding,
