I scanned the ocean and bay this evening from 6:45 till 8pm. The winds were
not ideal for shearwaters, but shorebirds were moving east to west
offshore. Highlights included;
1 Shearwater sp.
32 Semipalmated Plover
3 Ruddy Turnstone
27 Red Knot (single flock)
32 Sanderling
75 small shorebird sp.
